Heather The Jaguarundi

Heather is a Jaguarundi, who was rescued as a baby on 19th November 2022, when a farmer disturbed her mother. The mother ran away carrying the other 2 kittens but didn’t return for Heather. Unfortunatey Heather broke her hip and now it a bit clumsy when climbing, so it is unsure if she will ever be released. She has taken part in jungle walks, to try and encourage her natural behaviours, which may help strengthen her muscles and improve her balance.
