White-Brown Titi Monkeys

Tom and Jerry, Callicebus discolor, arrived in June 2023 with no background, however, we believe they have been in captivity since they were born. A medical check-up and an x-ray confirmed that the smaller one, Jerry, in particular has severe osteoporosis, therefore he was diagnosed by our vets to have nutritional secondary hyperparathyroidism. With supplements of calcium phosphorus and Vitamin D3, he will have a chance of survival and we hope that the two Titis can be introduced to our other Titi's Lucy and Tacacho and start a troop.
