Head Veterinarian

On-site, full-time, food and accomodation included. 
12 months commitment (Iquitos, Peru)

Principal tasks:
• Lead and program classes and activities of the Vet Internship Program
• Administer animal medical treatments
• Lead clinical procedures or treatments
• Lead preparation of food and water for quarantine and delegate tasks to volunteers and interns
• Keep feeding, medical and observation records.
• Report abnormal conditions to Director.
• Keep an organized and clean quarantine and clinic
• Support in night feedings to animals in nursery if needed

REQUIREMENTS:
• Commitment for 12 months
• Concluded Studies in Veterinary Medicine
• Experience in Wildlife Veterinary Medicine
• Knowledge about safety practices around wild animals
• Applicants must be able to comprehend and use oral and written English.
