REQUIREMENTS AND POLICIES
- Please note that entry into any enclosures is strictly prohibited without the supervision of our staff. We maintain a strict no-contact policy to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our beloved residents.
- Reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
- Be prepared for physical activity in a humid environment.
- Visitors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
- We kindly ask all visitors to have valid medical insurance.
HOW TO FIND US
We are located on the right side of the road from Iquitos to Nauta, at kilometer 47. You can reach us by car or take one of the local buses. The bus station is called Transportes Jaén, located at Calle Aguirre Cuadra 14. The ticket cost is a maximum of 15 soles. Be sure to inform the driver that your stop is RAREC at Km. 47.
AVAILABILITY
We offer two hour guided tours for a minimum group of four participants every day of the week besides wednesday.
VISIT RAREC
Join us for a guided tour at RAREC and discover the Amazonian native species, including manatees, ocelots, anteaters, sloths, and primates such as spider and woolly monkeys. In addition, learn about our wildlife conservation efforts and how we are protecting these incredible animals.
Your purchased ticket will serve as a donation, supporting the care of the animals, including food, medical supplies, and the centers maintenance.
