Visit or volunteer with us for one day
We open for a one-day volunteer experience to educate and encourage local people and tourists to appreciate, understand and protect wildlife and its natural habitats through our educational experience. We just receive visitor previous reservation, in order to keep the peaceful environment in our center.

Full Day experience is from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Your donation directly supports our mission to provide high-quality care for rescued wildlife. It helps cover release expenses, salaries for the dedicated professionals who care for the animals, and the maintenance of our programs that train the next generation of wildlife specialists. It also sustains our vital education initiatives for local communities.
As a non-profit organization, every contribution is carefully used to support our ultimate goal: Wildlife Conservation.

Doesn’t include transport to/from RAREC. Our location is in the Iquitos-Nauta road, our entrance is directly besides the road, so there is access to public and private transportation.

- Educational tour in RAREC
- Support with cleaning enclosures
- Preparation of food supplements and their delivery to the enclosures
- Support enrichment programs for animals
- Forage for native foods of animals such as insects, plants, flowers
- Learn about release preparations and education programs for communities
Requirements
- No specific experience necessary, but good team working skills are necessary
- An interest in wildlife conservation,
- Good listening skills and capable of following instructions
- ≥18 years old (Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult)
- Physically and mentally healthy and able to do physical activity in humid environment.
- Medical insurance
IMPORTANT: You will not be allowed to enter any of the enclosures without the supervision of our staff or handle any of the animals, we have a strict no contact policy.
